My Book

Photography introduced me to the fundamentals and intricacies of capturing light, post-and-processing techniques, from learning the three pillars of photography (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO) to the value of a good tripod, a wide-angle lens, and a remote shutter release. Transitioning into astronomy, telescopes and eyepieces replaced the traditional camera lens and my attention was drawn from earthly subjects to entities within the cosmic expanse.

Now, I can unearth and capture craters on the moon, stars, nebulas, galaxies, and planets. Yet, with each discover  I am humbled by the vastness of the universe, realising that the more I learn, the more questions I have.

Larry's new book, provides a unique and interesting perspective on the Moon through facts and detailed imagery. As readers journey through the pages, they will find themselves questioning and indeed pondering some of the key components of the Moon's existence, its creation, and its necessity for Earth's survival.
Through the author's research and observations, we look at the lunar surface's enigmatic landscape and examine the effects the moon has on our oceans, seasons, and imagination.
Whether you're interested in science and looking to learn more or just curious about the Moon, this book is a valuable resource for those eager to explore its wonders in simple language.

"Lunar Explorations – The Moon in Plain English" simplifies intricate ideas for all readers with its engaging writing style and clear explanations.
